Each month, I'll be putting together two special decks with individual images donated by everyone in the game! Since this is the last month of prejoin, we're going to have three special decks this month.

In the future, you'll only be able to donate one image toward one of the two decks. This round, however, you may donate one to each of the three decks. continue on to see the guidelines!

okay everyone, rewards for trades! prizes are as follows:

► 20 cards traded: 2 randoms
► 100 cards traded: cups tarot (one choice regular)
► 500 cards traded: 5 randoms and a wands tarot (one choice regular and one choice special)

► please either keep a separate trade log (even just as simple as this) OR number the cards you've traded in your log. FOR EXAMPLE:

traded: card01 and card02 for card03 and card04 with some dude (2 CARDS)
traded: card07 and card08 for card09 and card10 with some other guy (2 CARDS)

OR something similar, just so it's easy for mods to see how many cards you've traded. and it'll probably be easier for you to keep track with.

► these do stack! so every time you get 20 you get the two randoms, and every time you get 100 you get that prize. and each 20 you were rewarded for does count toward the higher goals.

► trades made before this was implemented still count!

so, fill out the form when you've hit one of the milestones!

HEY WE NEED GAME MODS

really bad! the pay for running a game is your game's max payout +2 random cards for each round. AND you'll get two randomized minor tarot cards (one choice regular or choice special) per month per game. So, if your game pays 3 randoms for a correct answer, you'll get 5 randoms for each round you post (weekly or biweekly). Then you'll also get two tarots at the end of the month.

right now, there is a limit of THREE games one person can run. You can choose any of the game in the community or on the website that are run by me, and I will be happy to turn them over to you. The only ones not available are the javascript games on the website like memory, lottery, and puzzles, as those have to stay on the main website.

Some of the games do require photoshop (or something similar) to make the game graphics. Though, if you run something like scrambler or the upcoming card swap, you won't have to make graphics!

To see the games already implemented see the game page or the game tag. We also have the following planned:

crossword
a standard crossword puzzle with a different tcg-related theme each week.

guess the song
a song, related to western media, is posted and people guess the name/artist/series it's from

card swap
there will be a category for each planet (card border color) each containing 9 or more cards. players can swap a card of their own for one of the same planet. players can swap 3-5 cards, from different categories per round.

pick a sign
players pick a zodiac sign in the comments and receive the prizes associated with the sign before the round. for example: ♐ = 1 random card ♏ = 1 random and 1 choice etc

tv trivia & movie trivia
a trivia question relating to either each week. This can be one game or two separate ones depending on interest.

Please fill out the form below to apply to be a game mod! Just remember that running a game will take up some time, and that you should be able to provide rewards within a week of the round ending. If you want more information on how a certain game is run, or have any questions at all, leave them here!

So I had this huge complicated trade counting system planned, and really it was too much work lmao. SO... we're applying it to currencies instead! The new currencies are tarot cards, the minor arcana, to be exact.

These will work as choice card coupons. cups = 1 choice regular card, pentacles = 1 choice special, swords = 2 choice regulars, wands = 1 choice regular and 1 choice special

It still might seem a little complicated but the breakdown will be posted in the guide and in the shop where you trade them in! These will also be open to donations. Soon you'll be able to donate sets of them (like you can with link and level banners) for cards. They are only one use and you are not required to post them all out on your card page until you use them (if you want to pick out ones you like and have basically

(2) on your page, that's fine!). But basically they will all function the same way, just have random pictures on them.

If you have any moons from previous game rounds, that's fine, you can still use them, but they won't be given out anymore by the end of the month!

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE. There's still the major Arcana, which are going to be turned into permanent perk coupons!

The perks aren't all set up yet, and the cards aren't made yet. So all of the current members can suggest a character for these:

One suggestion per player! Just list out the specific card, then the name and series of your suggestion (and if you want to come back and donate the image for it too, I won't complain). This will also function as a little freebie round. You'll get two random cards for a suggestion!

So hi everyone! We're still in the prejoin phase, obviously! We're getting all the decks, games, and info together so hopefully we can full open before the end of the month! so, as far as announcements go, there aren't a ton! we do have a mod plurk now though, which is

astrology_mods if you want to watch it to get updates on plurk instead of checking the comm.

Anyway! instead of a regular type of announcement post where we list out all the cards we've recently made, this one's going to be a little different. Everyone is free to head over to the deck page and claim 10 cards, each from different regular decks. no claiming more than one from the same deck! and go ahead and list them out in the comments here. You have until 9/05 to claim them!

The second purpose of this news post is to set up the prejoin banner claims! Anyone who joined in July or joins in August is considered a prejoiner, and is eligible for one! just link me to the image you want (same rules as member cards apply) and let me know what border color you want!
